2 Simple Reasons to Buy a Mac.

Windows vs Apple Mac. Why is there even a debate?
Ever since I can remember, people have been debating Windows vs Mac. There are people passionate about both sides, but the funny thing is, in my opinion there simply is only one answer that makes sense.
Apple wins. There is nothing to debate. Here's why.
Rather than run down a long list of reasons why I use a Mac, I can end this debate once and for all by giving just two simple reasons.
Reason #1 - You can run Windows on a Mac, but you can't run Mac on Windows
If you had to chose one of these options, which would you choose?
1. A Cheeseburger.
2. A Cheeseburger AND French Fries.
To me, there is no logical choice but option #2. Because you get both.
Believe it or not, that's exactly what the choices are when you buy a computer.
1. A box that runs Windows.
2. A box that runs Windows AND Mac.
But the key here is, if you buy a Mac, you can run Windows. The reverse is not true. In the example photo at the top of this post, you can see an actual Mac screen that is not only running Apple's OS X , but it's running XP, Windows 7, Windows 8 and three older versions of Apple's OS X Operating System. That's SEVEN Operating Systems all running AT THE SAME TIME.
Reason #2 - More software than Windows
I will admit that 10 years ago, there was clearly a shortage of programs on the Mac. But two things have changed.
First, when Apple released the iPhone they created the App Store as a marketplace for independent developers to distribute software. This gave independent programmers the ability to reach millions of customers that they never would've reached any other way. The prospect of writing a popular App and making millions attracted a massive wave of eager developers looking to cash in on the growing demand for Apps.
Second, because Apple uses the same development languages and tools for the Mac as they do for the iPhone and iPad, it was very easy for those same developers to release Mac versions of their Apps. When Apple introduced the App Store for the Mac, the number of Apps exploded to the point where there are now more Apps for the Mac than for Windows.
The cool thing is, if you choose to run Windows on the Mac, you clearly have more Apps to chose from, because, like the cheeseburger analogy, you can select between every Mac App, PLUS every Windows App.
This begs the question. If you look at the vast selection of Apps in the Mac App Store, do you even need to run Windows? For most people the answer is no. For many people, the only Windows program they ever purchase for is Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc), which is available as a native Mac App. Other than that, there may not even be a reason to run Windows... but you can.
In the end, it comes down to price. Apple tends to be a bit more expensive than the typical Windows PC, but they do have entry level computers for under $500, with pretty decent performance for about $699. Don't expect to run seven operating systems at the same time with the entry level models, but with enough RAM, you can.
